The alliance allows Dominicans to access the Billet Visa Card through the EPS network, the courier service with the widest coverage in the country. The 100% digital payment platform of Banco BHD has signed a strategic alliance with EPS (Express Parcel Service International, Inc.), which will enable Dominicans to easily obtain the Billet Visa Card through EPS’s extensive network of offices.
In the first stage, the cards will be distributed across EPS’s 17 branches, and later expanded to other offices nationwide. EPS offices will serve as pickup and activation points for the Billet Visa Cards.
The signing ceremony was led by Ángel Gil, Executive Vice President of Billet, and Dino Menicucci, President of EPS, alongside Luis Menicucci, Vice President of Marketing and Sales at EPS. This alliance will make it easier for thousands of customers to access Billet’s payment solutions physically, without needing to visit a bank branch. Moreover, this new channel will allow EPS customers to access digital payment methods and place their orders from the comfort of their homes, promoting financial inclusion and the digitalization of services throughout the country.
We have formalized this strategic alliance through which our EPS customers will enjoy unique benefits for online shopping — greater proximity, convenience, and faster delivery of Billet cards and payment processing — taking advantage of EPS’s infrastructure, as we are the courier with the widest coverage nationwide,” said Luis Menicucci.
Regarding its functionality, the Billet Visa Card is as simple as downloading the app, filling out the required information, and requesting the card, then selecting an EPS pickup point. This provides consumers with easy access to a secure and convenient payment method that allows them to make purchases and receive their orders through EPS.
Another key feature of Billet is its dynamic CVV — a three-digit security code that changes every three minutes to enhance protection for online purchases.
